Butcher & Barlow Announces Five New Partners

Butcher & Barlow is pleased to announce the promotion of five solicitors to partner status.  Samuel Dale, Rebecca Jepson, Adam Shawcross, Zoё Paton-Crockett and Andy Mackenzie joined the 23 strong partnership on 1st May this year.

Butcher and Barlow LLP was established over 130 years ago in Bury, Lancashire.  Over the years the Practice has developed and grown so that it now has ten offices spread across Lancashire and Cheshire.

Rebecca and Zoё are both located at the Firm’s dedicated Commercial and Agricultural office on Gadbrook Park, Northwich.  Andy is based at the Runcorn office, Sam at the Sandbach office and Adam at the Leigh office.  Of the five, four commenced their legal careers at the Firm as trainee solicitors, with Becky joining Butcher & Barlow from a London firm shortly after qualification.

Of his appointment Andy says:  “I was very pleased to be offered Partnership in Butcher & Barlow after almost 6 years of enjoying working for the firm. The work/life balance offered by the Firm, combined with the varied caseload and the responsibility I was given at an early stage has motivated me to help the firm continue to succeed.”

Senior partner Charles Barlow said of the appointments: “We are proud to recognise the hard work and dedication our people put in to making the Firm the success it is.  Rebecca, Zoё, Adam, Andy and Sam have all shown that they have the combination of academic ability and common sense to make successful lawyers  and I congratulate them all on their well deserved promotion.”
