Celebrating Success in The Legal 500 2022
We are delighted to announce that, for the fifth consecutive year, Butcher & Barlow has been recommended as a Leading Firm by The Legal 500, widely acknowledged as the leading guide to law firms in the UK. Published annually, the guide highlights law firms’ and individuals’ achievements over the past 12 months with firms and individuals included purely on merit after a meticulous research process.
The Firm have been recommended for the legal services provided in nine practice areas, including a Top Tier ranking for the Agriculture team, an excellent recognition of the breadth and depth of our services and market expertise. A record total of 21 lawyers are also mentioned by name, commenting on their standout contribution to their respective practice areas. Three such lawyers received the top accolades of Leading Individual, Next Generation Partner and Rising Star.
Mike Bracegirdle has, for the third year in succession, been named as a Leading Individual and his department has also been recognised as being in the Top Tier for their practice area – Agriculture & Estates
Zoë Paton-Crockett, Head of Commercial Property, was recognised as a Next Generation Partner, also for the third year in succession and James Holton, Property Litigation, was recognised as a Rising Star for the second time.
This year sees an improvement in the rankings in for the Family team, with all other departments maintaining their rankings after what has been a challenging year for us all.
