The Sandbach 10K sponsored by Butcher & Barlow
Sunday the 20th August saw the return of the annual Sandbach 10K organised by Sandbach Striders running club. It is an event we have proudly sponsored for the past nine years. The sun was shining and the atmosphere on the day was, as always, great. Thank you to everyone who came and said hello to us and entered our free prize draw. Congratulations to Gill Stevens whose name was chosen at random to win our hamper full of goodies.
As well as being headline sponsors of the event, this year five of the Butcher & Barlow team stepped up to the challenge and took part in the race. They did the firm proud, all finishing the race in under 58 minutes. Paralegal Patrik Jones-Wright was the first of our team across the line completing the race in 53:25 minutes. Trainee Solicitor George Flanders was next to finish the race with a time of 55:08 closely followed by Paralegal Mollie O’Connor in 55:39. Agriculture and Rural Affairs specialist Rachel Clements completed the race in 56:15 followed by Corporate & Commercial specialist Shay Moore who crossed the line with a time of 57:35. Well done team!
