I am an Associate Commercial Property Solicitor based at the Firm’s Gadbrook Park office, with over 26 years of experience advising on complex real estate matters in both the private and public sectors.
I joined Butcher & Barlow in 2026 and act for clients on development transactions, including site acquisitions and disposals, site assembly strategies, options and promotion agreements and housing-led schemes with supporting infrastructure and community assets.
Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of advising a broad range of clients including developers, investors, housebuilders, local authorities, registered providers and government bodies on a variety of matters including investment transactions, mixed-use regeneration projects, brownfield regeneration and general landlord and tenant matters.
Some notable projects I’ve been involved in include:
- Advising on the regeneration of a brownfield site to create approximately 400 new homes and sports facilities.
- Participating in a virtual secondment with a London local authority to assist with a high-profile regeneration project.
- Advising on the disposal of a greenbelt site with planning permission for homes and a commercial centre, ensuring compliance with planning, infrastructure and delivery obligations.
I joined Butcher & Barlow from Browne Jacobson and have previously held partner roles at Trowers & Hamlins and Pannone. I also worked in-house as Head of Property at Wirral Borough Council, providing me with a comprehensive perspective on risk, value, and deliverability. Clients value my approachable, open working style and my commitment to delivering practical solutions.
I hold a degree in Law with French and completed the Legal Practice Course at the College of Law, Chester. I also studied political science at the Institut d’Études Politiques Aix-Marseille III, earning the Certificat d’Études Politiques.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family and my dog, Bailey. I am also an active member of Rock Choir and love travelling to sunny destinations.
