I am a Solicitor working within the Corporate & Commercial Team at our Head Office in Bury. I assist with a broad range of business-related matters, including drafting Shareholders’ Agreements and Articles of Association, as well as reviewing and preparing commercial contracts. I also support the team with share sales, purchases and company restructurings.
I joined Butcher & Barlow in 2023 as a Trainee Solicitor. During my training contract I gained experience across several departments, including Residential Property and Employment, before qualifying into the Corporate & Commercial Team.
I graduated from Edge Hill University in 2021 with First Class Honours in Law and went on to complete the Legal Practice Course and a Master’s Degree in Legal Practice at the University of Law in Manchester. While studying, I volunteered at the University’s Law Clinic and at the Citizens Advice Bureau in Bury. These roles gave me practical experience across a variety of legal issues and deepened my understanding of the challenges faced by the people in my local community.
Outside of work I enjoy going to the gym, reading and spending time with my friends and family. I’m also a member of my local tennis club and spend much of my spare time there.
