I am a Senior Property Dispute Resolution Solicitor based at the Firms Corporate and Commercial hub on Gadbrook Park.
I joined Butcher & Barlow in 2024. I have a wealth of experience in commercial property dispute resolution, and commercial litigation, professional negligence, construction and insolvency. I have practiced in these fields for over 30 years.
My current focus is on property related matters, ranging from commercial property and real estate management, development issues, boundary corrections and all forms of proprietal right protection and opposition (including public ones). I have represented clients with significant property portfolios, including shopping centres and industrial estates. I am also experienced in agricultural property management and disputes, including Agriculturual tenancies, succession tenancies and disputes involving agricultural land and its ownership.
I have significant experience in high value multi-party disputes and am a regular user of mediation, and other forms of non-court based dispute resolution.
I was one of the first 100 solicitors to use CEDR for mediation, was invited to join the Professional Negligence Lawyers Assocation at its inception and have held non-executor directorships in a building society and an environmental fund.
In my spare time I enjoy windsurfing, of which I am an ex British Champion, kitesurfing, and mountain biking. I have recently qualified as an Advanced Open Water Diver. You You may also find me at an open mic night doing my poetry.
