I am a Solicitor currently working within the Wills, Trusts & Estates Team, assisting Partner Helen Chadderton.
Before starting my training contract, I joined the Firm as a Paralegal in August 2023, working in the Bramhall office and supporting the Residential Property Department. My work varied from day to day and included assisting with sales, purchases and remortgage matters. I found my time in the department both busy and rewarding, as purchasing a property is such a significant milestone in people’s lives. I like to think that I played a part in helping to make the process as smooth and stress-free as possible for our clients.
I commenced my training contract in March 2025 and continued working in the Residential Property Department, which allowed me to further develop my knowledge in this area, with a particular focus on property purchases.
Over my training contract I gained valuable experience in the Wills, Trusts and Estates Team, advising clients on the preparation of Wills and guiding them through the process of obtaining probate. This role allowed me to develop a strong understanding of both the legal and personal aspects involved in estate planning and administration. I recognised that dealing with these matters can be an overwhelming and emotional process for many clients, often occurring at a particularly difficult time in their lives. I therefore aimed to provide clear, supportive guidance throughout, ensuring clients felt informed and reassured at each stage. I like to think that I was able to support clients when they needed it most, whether by explaining complex procedures in a straightforward way or simply by offering a listening ear during a challenging time.
I graduated from Staffordshire University in 2020 where I obtained a First Class Law Degree. I then decided to complete my LPC at Staffordshire University and graduated in 2023.
Outside of work, I enjoy going to the gym and baking, two very conflicting interests, I know! In addition, I also enjoy taking my dog Luna for walks.
