I am a Trainee Solicitor working in family law.  After assisting  Caroline Cockill-Guy at the firm’s London Road, Northwich office for  4 years I have now moved to Bramhall to assist Nicola Wingfield.

The main basis of my day to day work is in relation to:

  • Private law children matters
  • Pre-Proceedings
  • Public law children – care orders, discharge of care orders
  • Non-Molestation Proceedings

Work undertaken varies vastly from representing clients at the Pre-Proceedings level to assisting Counsel at hearings for children matters.

Every day in family law you have to be prepared for the unexpected, as you never know what kind of immediate assistance you may need to provide a client. A degree of sensitivity has to be incorporated within your work with clients, as well as ensuring clients understand the reality of the situation they are in.

The best reward is the genuine gratitude of a client and the relief you see when matters finally settle and the client is in a better place at the end of their process than they were when they first came to our office for the initial client meeting.

I completed my LPC at Staffordshire University. Prior to this, I completed my law degree at Staffordshire University, graduating in 2015.

In my spare time, I enjoy undertaking various fitness classes and when I have time, I enjoy travelling to new countries both for city breaks and for relaxing summer breaks.
