Benjamin Davenport-Lawton

Trainee Solicitor

Benjamin Davenport -Lawton

I am a second year Trainee Solicitor at the Firm’s Runcorn Office. I work within the Private Client Department, assisting partner Samuel Dale, specialising in Wills & Probate, Powers of Attorney, Trusts and Court of Protection matters.

I joined Butcher & Barlow in July 2018 as a Paralegal and commenced my Training Contract in September 2019. I have previously worked within the Litigation Department, the Agricultural Department and the Residential/Commercial Conveyancing Department.

I graduated from Nottingham Trent University in 2016 where I obtained a 2:1 in History. I then began studying the Graduate Diploma in Law at Nottingham Law School and advanced onto the Legal Practice Course the following year. I also obtained a Master of Laws, specialising in Civil Litigation and Dispute Resolution.

My interests outside of work involve most rural pursuits and watching sports; particularly rugby and horse racing.
