I am a Partner at Butcher & Barlow, and a non-practising Solicitor. My current role is as the Firm’s Marketing Partner. I am primarily based at the Firm’s Sandbach office.
I studied Law at Reading University, graduating in 1999. I attended the College of Law, Chester where I completed the Legal Practice Course, obtaining a distinction, prior to joining Butcher & Barlow as a trainee solicitor in 2000.
I had experience in a number of Butcher and Barlow offices before settling at the Northwich Office to undertake the property and private client work. I became a Partner in 2007 and headed up the Northwich office from 2008 to 2012.
I moved to the Sandbach office in 2012 to develop the Private Client department.
My role now is all things marketing for the Firm, from coordinating campaigns to organising trade shows and events to putting in place strategic plans.
I am fortunate that I get to travel around to the Firm’s other offices on a regular basis which keeps me in touch with the 160 plus staff we currently have, and helps me understand the differing needs of each office based on its location.
Outside of work, I have two sons, am a (slow and steady) member of Sandbach Striders running club, whose annual 10K road race is supported by Butcher & Barlow. and my rare moments of spare time are spent with a good book and a glass, or three, of wine!
