I am a solicitor specialising in private client matters. I work out of both the firm’s Northwich offices – London Road and the dedicated commercial and agricultural office on Gadbrook Park.
I joined Butcher & Barlow as a paralegal in 2013, having graduated from the College of Law, Chester, after completing both the Graduate Diploma in Law and Legal Practice Course.
Prior to my time in the Law, I studied History and French Studies at the University of Birmingham and went on to teach English as a Foreign Language in Northern France.
I commenced my Training Contract with Butcher & Barlow in September 2014 and as part of my training, I have worked in various areas of law including Family Law and Commercial & Residential Property, before qualifying as a solicitor in September 2016.
I now specialise in the following areas:-
- Probate & Administration of Estates
- Powers of Attorney
- Deputyships and Court of Protection
- Transfers of Equity
- Care & Estate planning
My role sees me working with a range of clients primarily in the local Northwich area but also further afield. I work closely with our Agricultural Department based at our Gadbrook Park office offering Wills and Estate Planning services to our farming and agriculture clients.
I pride myself on providing a highly efficient and personal level of service to each and every client, recognising that no two clients or their matters are the same. I appreciate the importance of this approach for our clients in what can often be a challenging and sensitive time for them in this area.
Outside of work I enjoy watching football matches, being a keen supporter of West Bromwich Albion FC, as well as travelling, socialising, swimming and attending the gym.
