I joined Butcher & Barlow in August 2021, in the Private Client department in Bury, working as a paralegal before commencing my Training Contract in September.
Before joining the Firm, I graduated from the University of Manchester with a degree in Ancient History, before deciding to follow in the footsteps of my mother and train to be a solicitor. Since then I have had extensive legal insight working in a range of environments, from an in-house legal team for a water company to working full time as a personal injury paralegal in a leading insurance law firm. A highlight while studying at the University of Law, was that I was part of a team that won the annual commercial awareness competition. I finished my higher education with a Distinction in the LPC.
Outside of work I can be found kayaking on one of the many waterways, knee deep in mud for my local rugby club or riding a shire horse.
