Butcher & Barlow

James works at our Bury Office and specialises in Company and Commercial matters including Commercial Property. James' Company and Commercial work involves sales and purchases of small to medium size businesses, bespoke company incorporation and preparation and review of shareholder agreements and cross option agreements, as well as advising partnerships. In respect of commercial property James acts for sellers, buyers and lending institutions on investment acquisitions and disposals and for both landlords and tenants on a broad range of commercial lettings

James attended Leicester University and then attended Stoke University in 2005 to obtain his LPC.  James graduated top of the class in Business Law whilst at Staffordshire University and has always had a passion for company and commercial law.

James joined the firm in 2006 as a Trainee Solicitor and was admitted as a Solicitor in 2008. 

During his time with Butcher & Barlow James has established an ongoing relationship with numerous clients and believes that this is due to the fact that his clients value the thorough approach which he adopts and that he is always available to discuss matters with his clients when they want.

In his spare time James enjoys travelling and walking.
