Rachel is a solicitor who works at our Tyldesley office. She specialises in family law, including divorce, separation of married and non-married couples, all issues relating to children and financial matters arising from divorce and separation, and issues arising from domestic abuse including applications for non-molestation orders (injunctions). Rachel also specialises in representing parents in public law children matters which includes cases where social services are involved with children as well as cases where the Local Authority have issued care proceedings relating to children. She has achieved the Children Law Accreditation which is a recognised quality standard awarded by the Law Society for solicitors representing children and parents in court proceedings relating to children.
Rachel started her career with Butcher & Barlow in 2001 and was admitted as a solicitor in 2003. She became a Partner in May 2007 and is the head of the firm's Family Department.
