Butcher & Barlow

Justin is Head of Employment Law at Butcher and Barlow and is based primarily at our Bramhall Office although travels to all of our offices to meet clients at the most convenient location for them. Justin also deals with disputes, including commercial and general contractual disputes.  Justin is also a Notary Public dealing with an array of documents for use outside of the UK and also acts on behalf of Landlords in Landlord and Tenant Disputes.

Justin is also one of our four notary publics.

Justin qualified with a 1^st class honours degree in law before attending the respected College of Law in Chester. Justin trained with the firm in 1999 and was admitted as a solicitor in 2001, progressing to partner level in 2005.

Justin has substantial experience in dealing with employers and employees. His clients range from  UK divisions of multi-national companies to much smaller employers with 2 or 3 employees. Although Justin's main practice is acting in behalf of employers he is experienced in acting in claims for employees on a wide range of issues and has successfully represented claimants in all manner of claims including a sexual harassment claim against a firm of solicitors.  Justin has also advised a large number of employees of a major telecommunications company on termination (or compromise) agreements.

Other than an active interest in sports, particularly horse racing and football (watching not playing !) Justin enjoys spending time with his wife and 2 young children.
