Caroline is a solicitor and specialist in family law including divorce, financial matters, cohabitation disputes, children issues, domestic violence and pre-nuptial agreements.
Caroline is also a qualified mediator having trained with Resolution.
Caroline qualified in 1999 and completed her training contract with a firm listed in the Legal 500 in Manchester City Centre.
Caroline joined Butcher & Barlow in 2009. Caroline became a partner in the firm in 2011 and is based in our Northwich office. Caroline is a member of the Law Society Family Law Advanced Accreditation Scheme.
Caroline has a particular specialism dealing with complex financial disputes on divorce and has considerable experience dealing with business and company ownership on divorce. She also has a leading reputation in the area of children act disputes.
Caroline prides herself on client care and forging honest and longstanding relationships with her clients. Most of Caroline's client's come to her by way of personal recommendation. She is committed to working effectively and efficiently for her clients so as to keep fees at a reasonable and realistic level.
In her private life Caroline is a committee member for a charity that helps all victims of domestic abuse including women, men and children.
