I am a Solicitor based at our Leigh office.
I specialise in all elements of Private Client work and any associated Property work.
I originally joined the firm in 2017 and completed my training contract here before qualifying as a Solicitor in 2019. I returned to the firm in July 2022 after a brief period away. My time at other firms was spent primarily in a specialist Private Client firm where I gained valuable experience in dealing with more niche and high-value Private Client work. This experience has provided me with the skills and knowledge to offer advice to a wide range of clients from the local individual passing on the street to directors and shareholders of companies looking to organise their personal affairs .
My areas of expertise include:
- Wills and Inheritance Tax planning;
- Estate administration –Probate and Letters of Administration including high value estates;
- Trusts and trust administration;
- Tax planning;
- Lasting Powers of Attorney; and
- Court of Protection applications.
I also have experience in dealing with Property transactions, both residential and commercial, which I find to be very valuable when assisting my clients. I like to provide an efficient and straight forward-service to my clients. I aim to be clear and concise when providing advice to ensure my clients have a thorough understanding of the matter, without being bombarded or confused by the legal jargon. I am approachable, friendly and like to maintain a familiarity with my clients so they always feel comfortable to return for further help should they require it in the future. I find this to be the key to working in one of our smaller branches.
In my spare time I am part of a local theatre group and enjoy performing in several productions a year. I also enjoy visiting new places and walking my crazy cockapoo Archie with my family. Any spare time I have other than that I like to relax with a good book or binge watch a TV series.
