Team Butcher & Barlow compete in ‘It’s a Knockout’ competition in support of the Together Trust

 

Team Butcher & Barlow enjoyed competing in ‘It’s a Knockout’ on Saturday 5th June 2010. The event took place at the Cheadle Festival and was organised by the Together Trust and held at their Schools Hill campus. The team named themselves ‘The Raving Legal Party’. Butcher & Barlow went into the competition as the defending champions and were hoping to hold onto the title. The team was made up of partners, solicitors and support staff from across the firm’s nine offices in Cheshire and Greater Manchester. The team members were Philip Thompson from the Bramhall and Bury offices, Laura Sheehan from the Tyldesley office, Chris Hopkins and Nichola Ashworth from the Prestwich office, Amy Norman from the Northwich office, Le-Ann Walker and Rebecca Birch from the Sandbach office, Alex Sandland and Nicola Wingfield from the Runcorn office and Kimberley Daniel-Ellison from the Bury office. The team threw themselves into the competition and showed great determination throughout the various challenges. Team ‘The Raving Legal Party’ came joint fifth overall. Staff from Butcher & Barlow together with friends and family turned up to support the team and the event and they enjoyed the glorious sunshine. Philip Thomson, a Partner who is based at our Bramhall and Bury offices said “I am really pleased that the firm was able to support the Together Trust in this event.
