Butcher & Barlow Support Will Week for Northwest Air Ambulance
The Northwest Air Ambulance launch their first ever Will Week this September and, with support from all eight of Butcher & Barlow’s offices across Lancashire and Cheshire, it is anticipated that the event will be a huge success.
Northwest Air Ambulance is a registered charity funded entirely by public donations. The charity provides a unique and vital medical air emergency service to the Lancashire, Greater Manchester, Cheshire, Merseyside and Cumbria areas attending to all major motorway accidents and accidents in areas with poor and restricted access. Many members of the public don’t realise that the NHS does not have its own air ambulance service and has to rely on the charity to rescue and fly patients as quickly as possible to hospitals.
However with costs at just over £3.9 million a year, it is crucial that the charity receives the necessary support from the public in order to be able to continue to provide its service and make such a difference to so many lives.
Butcher & Barlow understands just how important the charity and the service it provides is to a patient’s chances of survival and so all the offices have shown magnificent support for the charity’s up and coming Will Week.
The event will take place between the 21st and 25th September 2009 and Butcher & Barlow staff are encouraging clients to arrange an appointment to make or review their Will during that week.
Instead of the firm recovering their usual fee for preparing the clients’ Wills, they will be asking them to make the same donation, or more if they wish, to the charity instead.
The firm has held Will Weeks in the past for other charities, all of which have proved to be extremely successful and so now they are delighted to be supporting a much valued local charity.
